Q. what is the CLPUSA school program?

 

A. CLPUSA is an introductory cricket skills and match play program for New York Region 

 

elementary and middle schools.

 

The professionally run program is initially just targeting New York. However, CLPUSA 

 

program provides a framework that can be applied in school districts and or private 

 

providers across the country. Volunteers, coaches and teachers across the USA are welcome 

 

to start their own program with the support of RESOURCE LIBRARY for program keys 

 

and guidelines. 

 

Q. what can my school expect from the CLPUSA program?

 

A. New York schools will receive direct contact with a CLPUSA Development Coach to help 

 

shape a cricket program to suit your school's needs; this normally includes return visits 

 

during PE classes to introduce the game and develop skills in your students. 

 

You will also receive a bag of CLPUSA branded plastic equipment, suitable for both indoor 

 

and outdoor activities.

 

Q. Who instructs the CLPUSA program?

 

A. CLPUSA is instructed by CLPUSA Development Coaches. Coaches are from diverse 

 

backgrounds and include former national team players and administrators. They are DOE 

 

fingerprint approved and trained cricket coaches.

Q. what are the additional cricket opportunities available to my students?

 

A. CLPUSA promotes continuation of participation and development in cricket through 

 

FREE weekend CLPUSA Coaching and TEN10 programs. There are also 5-day camps 

 

conducted during July summer break.
